Singer/Pianist
I have been working as a singer/pianist now for several years. It is always a joy to bring my music and voice to your special occasions when all your family and closest friends are together. It is always a warm and wonderful atmosphere. I love to play to a wide age range because my taste in music is very eclectic and spans well beyond my own era! The oldies are the best ;)
I have also played residencies at many hotels and restaurants like Pizza Express, The Ritz, The Montague Hotel as well as the VIP tent at Wimbledon Tennis for many years.
I was also asked to use my accompanying skills to play for the famous Cabaret star Meow Meow in Brighton and Liverpool.
Classical Pianist
I started my career as a classical pianist graduating with a first class degree from Birmingham Conservatoire so I can also play elegant classical piano pieces if you so wish. Debussy is my absolute favourite! In my classical career I have played at venues such as St John's Smith Square, The Barbican and worked for companies such as ENO and Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.
I also am in demand as an accompanist playing for instrumentalists and also classical singers. I regularly play with a flautist as part of The Damask Duo and we have played for many years together giving concerts on cruise ships such as Cunard and P&O.
